How to play
Every ball is a decision. A bowler runs in and releases; the ball travels down one of three lines — leg, middle, or off — sometimes with a variation like a yorker, bouncer, slower ball, or turning delivery. Watch the ball, not the run-up, and commit to a shot.
- Tap left / right — play to the leg or off side. Playing across the wrong line downgrades your shot.
- Swipe up — loft the ball for six potential, at a higher risk of being caught.
- Timing is everything — the closer your tap is to the moment of contact, the cleaner the result.
Scoring & timing
Your input is graded against the ideal contact moment:
- Perfect — dead-centre timing. Boundaries and sixes.
- Good — a small miss. Twos, the odd four, some risk.
- Okay — singles and dots.
- Poor / Miss — dots, edges, and dismissals. Misread a straight ball and you're bowled.
After every ball, a meter shows exactly where your timing landed — that's how you learn to find the middle of the bat.
Tips to beat the Daily Challenge
- Leave the wide teaser alone — chasing it only invites an edge.
- Watch the pitch marker for turn; the ball's true line can differ from where it's released.
- Don't tap on the bowler's rhythm — the slower ball punishes exactly that.
- Keep grounded shots for good deliveries; save the loft for the ones you've read early.
