DLS Calculator
Duckworth-Lewis-Stern revised target
Estimate a revised chase target for interrupted limited-overs matches using resource percentages, overs available, and wickets in hand.
How DLS Works
Each team starts with "resources" based on overs remaining and wickets in hand. If rain cuts Team 2's overs, their target adjusts based on the resource ratio. 100/2 has far more resources than 100/7 — DLS accounts for this.
Net Run Rate
Calculate NRR across multiple matches
Add one or more matches to compare scoring rate against conceding rate and produce a tournament-style net run rate.
How NRR Works
NRR = (Runs Scored / Overs Faced) - (Runs Conceded / Overs Bowled). Positive = you score faster than you concede. Used as tiebreaker when teams are level on points.
Required Run Rate
Runs per over needed to chase a target
Enter the target, current score, overs bowled, and wickets fallen to see the required rate, balls left, projection, and chase difficulty.
Reading the Difficulty
T20: below 8 RPO = comfortable, 8-10 manageable, 10-12 challenging, 12+ very tough. Wickets factor in — 12 RPO with 9 wickets is different from 12 RPO with 3 wickets.
